Help

The app in plain words. If something here does not match what you see, use “Tell us what's wrong” at the foot of any signed-in page.

Getting in

Join with an email and one password. The password protects your account and signs your records, so choose it carefully: we cannot read it, and recovery makes a new signing key rather than revealing the old one.

Lost your password? Use the link under the sign-in button. If an account exists for the address, an email with one link arrives; it works for 72 hours.

Things

Things is everything on your ledger: items you added yourself, items a business issued to you, and records such as warranties your AI drafted and you signed. Each item shows a picture and a price when it has one, and its room when your AI placed it.

Open an item to see its details, link it to its page in the directory, transfer it to someone by their Life Inc name, or report it stolen.

Reporting a thing stolen

On the item's page, choose Report stolen and say when, where, what happened, the police report number if you have one, and the serial number. The report marks the item on your ledger, blocks transfers, and lets anyone who checks that serial number through Life Inc see “reported stolen” and the date.

It is a record and a public serial check, not a police report: report the theft to the police as well. Nobody who checks is told who holds the item, and the serial number itself is stored only as a hash. When it comes back, choose Mark as found.

Records

Records are what a business has signed for you: receipts, memberships, certificates, warranties. Each one has a public check link that confirms the signature and whether the record still stands, without showing what it says.

Me

Me is your name, your Life points, invitations from businesses, and the businesses you belong to. A name is how people and businesses find you; the badge shape says who you are: circle for a person, square for a business, shield for an authority, tag for a product.

Settings holds your account, your AI connections, connected software, your data export and where you are signed in.

Business

Create a business, charity or family and it gets its own ledger, signing identity and name. From there you issue records to customers, hold items, claim product names and directory pages, connect your software and run it with the people you trust.

Your AI

Connect the AI you already use and it drafts items from photos, a walk through the house or your email. Drafts wait under “Waiting for your OK”; nothing becomes a record until you sign it with your password.
