A person
The things you own and the records behind them, in one place that is yours. Show a receipt or a warranty with one link; nobody sees the rest.
Life Inc
Your things, your records, yours to keep.
Receipts, warranties, log books, names and proof of ownership: signed by whoever issued them, held by you, checkable by anyone you show them to.
Free during beta. One password signs your records; we never see it.
A business
Issue signed receipts and item records at the point of sale. Your customers keep them, and anyone can check that you signed them.
A thing you hold
Each thing carries its own history: who sold it, what it is, whether it has been reported stolen. Pass it on and the record goes with it.
The Life Inc Directory
One public page per kind of thing: specs, parts, recalls and history. No account needed to read it.
